Barrell Craft Spirits’ New Blending Facility

Ten-Year Dream Comes True for Beatrice Family

Barrell Craft Spirits (BCS) dedicated its new $15 million blending facility in Jeffersontown, Kentucky (a Louisville suburb) last week. I was on hand at the private ceremony. BCS Founder Joe Beatrice and Chief of Distillery Operations Tripp Stimson cut the ribbon along with assorted dignitaries.

“We’re thrilled to unveil our new state-of-the-art blending facility and to continue our 10-year legacy of developing sought-after award-winning blends that push the boundaries of American whiskey,”

Barrell Craft Spirits Founder Joe Beatrice and Chief of Distilling Operations Tripp Stimson took ceremonial scissors in hand last week to cut the ribbon dedicating the new Craft Barrel Spirits blending faciltiy in Jefferston, Kentucky.

BCS began in 2013 and describes itself as “the original, pre-eminent independent blender of unique, aged, cask strength whiskey and rum.”

Here are a few specs on the new blending facility:

  • 31,000 square feet
  • Eight blending tanks (64,000-gallon capacity)
  • New bottling lines
  • 18,000-barrel rickhouse (minutes away offsite)

Barell Craft Spirits products are available in 49 states.
