Buzzard’s Roost Rolls Out the Barrel for Repeal Day

All true whiskey lovers have a special place in their hearts for December 5th – the day Prohibition was repealed. Here’s a great way to celebrate the 90th anniversary or Repeal Day: Buzzards’ Roost Sipping Whiskey in Louisville will “roll out the barrel” down Whiskey Row on Tuesday, December 5 at 5:00 p.m. The barrel of newly-released Founder’s Select Bourbon will roll from the corner of 6th and Main Street down to Buzzard’s Roost Whiskey Row Experience at 624 W. Main Street.

A ”second line” of musicians from the Louisville Orchestra will follow the barrel and revelers in a Prohibition Repeal Parade down the block. Once onsite, the music and party will continue with a chance to purchase the new Buzzard’s Roost offering.
