Dread River Honors Veterans with New Bourbon

Master Series Batch 2 is finished in French oak casks

Dread River Distilling Company, in Birmingham, Alabama, has a new bourbon out with a unique twist. The Master Series Batch 2 honors veterans and was selected and bottled by a 20-year vet. Dread River assistant distiller Trey Bruner was a USAF Combat Controller who had eight combat deployments.

The double-barrel straight bourbon started in American oak barrels and then spent time in French oak casks

Dread River says it is responsible for distilling the first bourbon in Birmingham in more than 100 years.
