Seven Seals Peated Port Wood Finish

The Stockhausen Method

“This method is used today to produce and refine spirits, especially whisky and rum. The inventor, Dr. Dolf Stockhausen, after whose name the new process is named, has revolutionized aging process entirely and shortened it by years. The key element in the Stockhausen method is that no chemicals are needed whatsoever.”

Distiller’s note: “Our Seven Seals Peated Port wood Finish has a remarkable Peat-smoke note. Subtle, yet multi-layered in the nose, this single malt makes you crave for more. The palate is defined by the distinctive flavor of peat smoke, embedded in full-bodied aromas of dried fruits such as raisins with accents of honey and oriental spices,”

Smokey, yet not medicinal peat greets you. Raisins, peach and honey follow.

Long and lingering with mild spices, ending with a tantalizing smokey fruitiness.
