There’s a new week of activities for bourbon lovers to add to their calendars. The inaugural National Bourbon Week will take place in Bardstown, Kentucky, from June 11 to 16, 2024. The event is a partnership between the city of Bardstown and the Bourbon Capital Alliance.
Events for the week in the self-proclaimed “Bourbon Capital of the World” will include “special distillery events, curated tastings, unique bourbon education opportunities, and the 21st Annual Bourbon City Street Concert.”
The highlight of National Bourbon Week will be the rollout of the 2024 edition of the Bardstown Collection, a collaboration between seven area distilleries. Each distillery will have fewer than 500 bottles for sale as part of this annual release.
The distilleries participating in the 2024 Bardstown Collection are:
- Bardstown Bourbon Company
- Heaven Hill Distillery
- James B. Beam Distilling Co.
- Limestone Branch Distillery
- Log Still Distillery
- Lux Row Distillers
- Preservation Distillery + Farm.
