2023 was a record year for visitors at the Jeptha Creed Distillery. The Shelbyville, Kentucky craft distillery recently announced that it welcomed 63,000 visitors in 2023. That is a 20% increase over the year before.
Jeptha Creed attributes its growing tourism success to:
- Being named Shelbyville’s #1 destination by Trip Advisor.
- The return of the Jammin’ At Jeptha concert series.
- The new Fall Harvest Festival (Read about our visit to the Fall Harvest Festival here.)
- New tour and tasting experiences.
- The release of batch two of Red, White, & Blue Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
The distillery says it has big plans for 2024 including releasing a 6-year-old wheated bourbon, new visitor center experiences, and increasing distribution to several new states.
The women-owned, family-operated distillery is known for its distinctive use of Bloody Butcher Corn in a variety of products, including vodka, moonshine, brandy, and bourbon.
