I am like Pavlov’s dog the second I enter an Irish bar. I am compelled to order a Pickleback straight away. I’m sure you are supposed to toss them back, but I prefer to sip my whisky and pickle juice too. After a couple of those, it’s time to chill with a red ale, and give the bartender a break. It seems only natural to cut-to-the-chase, and have it all in a single cocktail this St. Patrick’s Day. Sláinte!
