The first National Bourbon Week of bourbon activities kicks off in Bardstown, Kentucky, the “Bourbon Capital of the World,” Tuesday, June 11. It begins with the debut of this year’s Bardstown Collection, a unique collaboration between seven Bardstown-area distilleries (Bardstown Bourbon Company, Heaven Hill Distillery, James B. Beam Distilling Co., Limestone Branch, Log Still Distillery, Lux Row Distillers, and Preservation Distillery.)
The kickoff happens from 6 to 9 p.m. at My Old Kentucky Home State Park in Bardstown. Get ticket information here.
Go here for the full schedule of events that includes “special distillery events, unique bourbon education opportunities, and the 21st annual Bourbon City Street Concert.”
While you’re in Bardstown, be on the lookout for the new Bourbon Capital District signs that signify the downtown boundaries of what’s being called an “entertainment destination center.”
“The Bourbon Capital Alliance, Bardstown Main Street, additional partners and 20+ sponsors are excited to launch the Bourbon Capital District in conjunction with National Bourbon Week next week.”
