George Remus was one of the most colorful characters during the Prohibition. It makes sense that his bourbon would team up with Babe Ruth, one of the most iconic baseball players of the same era.
Remus Bourbon is partnering with Ruth’s estate to offer Remus Babe Ruth Reserve. To honor the #3 on the Babe’s uniform, the new expression is a blend of three high-rye bourbons, aged six-to-seven years.
The Remus Babe Ruth Reserve bottle speaks to the art deco designs popular a century ago. It includes a wooden cork closure that looks like the knob of a baseball bat, Ruth’s signature, and a lot of ornate artwork including a baseball-diamond pattern.
