Woodford’s Master Distiller Teams Up With Dad

“I’ve always been a bourbon drinker,” said O’Neill, who is retired. ”I was very excited when my daughter asked me to join her.”

Of course, lots of fathers will be getting bourbon for Father’s Day soon. Why not give one that a father and daughter teamed up to create that “honor(s) the passion and spirit of fathers everywhere?”

Woodford Reserve Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall had “Bring Your Dad to Work Day” at the Versailles, Kentucky distillery earlier this year. She and her father, Tim O’Neill, batched seven different two-barrel blends to create a variety of flavors that fit their taste profiles.”

McCall graces the cover of this month’s edition of Whiskey Network Magazine. Learn more about her in our latest Women in Whiskey feature here.

The limited-edition one-liter bottles have an SRP of $79.99 and are available at the distillery and online.

“I brought my Dad to the distillery and put him to work, and it was such a special experience. We had a wonderful time creating seven one-of-a-kind bourbons that others can share with their fathers.”

"Whisky is liquid sunshine."
