Buzzard’s Roost Bottled-in-Bond

Our friends at Buzzard’s Roost Sipping Whiskey are bringing out their first bottled-in-bond offering, and it’s already winning awards.

Buzzard’s Roost Bottled-in-Bond (BiB) is made in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, aged five years, and then spent time in secondary maturation barrel at Bardstown Bourbon Company. Wine Enthusiast Magazine gives the new offering 95 points and it won a Silver Medal at the recent International Whiskey Competition.

The Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 sets out guidelines that distillers must meet to use the BiB designation. The alcohol must be produced by one distiller at one distillery in one distillation season (January to June or July to December). It has to be aged in federally bonded warehouse for at least four years and bottle at 100 proof. SRP is $79.99

“We are all about respecting tradition while adding our own twist – and the secondary aging on this bourbon transformed it into something truly special,” said Jason Brauner, Buzzard’s Roost Co-founder and Master Blender.

“We knew this one was special the minute we tasted it. Flavor is our differentiator, and the high scores that this whiskey has already earned from the most respected whiskey experts in the world is a testament to its excellence. It instantly became one of my personal favorites.”
