The bourbon boom is alive and well in Kentucky. Whiskey House of Kentucky (Whiskey House) began operations this month in Elizabethtown. The new distillery bills itself as “the most sophisticated, technically advanced producer of custom bourbon, rye, and American whiskey in the United States.”
Whiskey House uses a unique business model. Founders say Whiskey House is “the first distillery designed from the ground up to focus solely on large-scale, flexible, contract whiskey production.” Whiskey House distills no brands under its own name. The campus is not open to the public.
