Blue Note Bourbon announced this week its limited release Honey Rye Cask whiskey. The straight rye whiskey is finished in honey barrels that started as bourbon barrels. Blue Note promotes its products as “artfully crafted to honor the rich blues music that is synonymous with Memphis.”

- Nose: Very light apricot, vanilla, all spice, and oak
- Taste: Caramel, hints of apricot, oak, floral finish, all spice
- Finish: Soft and balanced, light texture, with lingering hints of wildflower and honey
