There’s another place to grab a bite to eat while you’re traveling the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen is now serving lunch and dinner at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in Bardstown, Kentucky.
The Five Brothers Bar opened as part of the most recent expansion of the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in 2021. Its name is a tribute to the five Shapira brothers who started Heaven Hill in 1935. Heaven Hill Brands is now the largest family-owned spirits company in the United States.
Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen is now open from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen features dishes that reflect Southern tradition and local flavors such as:
- The savory Fried Chicken Sandwich.
- The comforting Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup.
- The playful and decadent Fluffernutter – a banana, peanut butter, and marshmallow sandwich.
- Max’s Garden Sandwich, a nod to Max Shapira, the longstanding leader and current Executive Chairman of the company.
- Fried Pimento Cheese balls and other traditional offerings like burgers, salads and sides.
