Three Chord Bourbon Allman Brothers Band

I have enjoyed Three Chord Bourbon for years now. I can honestly say that I have never had one of their expressions I didn’t like. Blender Ari Sussman has the magic touch when it comes to blending and finishing whiskey.

The Allman Brothers Band bottle is a tribute to his ingenuity. This expression blew me away from the first sip. I may be mistaken, but I believe that this is the first bourbon finished in toasted peach wood. How did he come up with this idea? I do get that the album label had some influence, but toasting a fruit wood to finish was pure genius. “Eat a Peach” stands as one of the Allman Brothers Band’s finest achievements, seamlessly blending powerful studio tracks with unforgettable live performances. This album is not only a masterpiece of Southern rock but also a heartfelt tribute to Skydog, the legendary Duane Allman.

This limited release is part of Three Chord Bourbon’s 2024 Backstage Series and just began shipping 2 weeks ago.

The tasting notes tell the story below. This is a magical bourbon that is a perfect match for the “Eat a Peach” album!

Nice sweetness with vanilla and spice. Well-rounded with a remarkably surprising peach note.

A very long finish of baking spices and, dare I say, peach cobbler.

Recommendation: One of the most enchanting bourbon’s I’ve had! Highly recommend buying a bottle. This is one you’ll definitely want to try.
