The holidays are quickly approaching. Thanksgiving is four weeks away and Christmas is only eight weeks away. That means it is almost time for WhiskyFest New York at the Marriott Marquis, located in Midtown Manhattan, between 45th & 46th Streets, on Broadway.

The holidays are a time where I celebrate and spend time with family, and this event is my favorite way to open the season.

At WhiskyFest, I look forward to making new friends, seeing old friends that I have met through the years, speaking with many in the industry, catching up with annual attendees, and many attendees that I know through my local whisky clubs.

Also, I anticipate not necessarily sampling the big name pours, but rather exploring what I have not had the opportunity to try before.  Of course, I’m happy to revisit pours that I have not had in a while.

There will be so many great spirits, all under one roof, I cannot wait! Like the people and the whisky, the food is plentiful, diverse, and delicious. Both hot and cold dishes are served.

Lastly, everyone gets a commemorative Glencairn glass to take home as a souvenir.

Hope to see you there!

Enjoy a few highlights from my adventure at WhiskyFest 2023 in New York.
