The number 16 looms large for NBA star Stephen Curry. His Gentleman’s Cut Whiskey recently released a 16-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon called Player Exclusive: Father and Son Edition. The special limited-edition bourbon commemorates the 16 years that Curry and his father, Dell, each played professional basketball in the NBA. Son Curry is still playing, of course.

Tasting notes (from the distillery): A delectable bourbon with notes of sweetness, spiciness, and smoke. An intense profile of dried cherries and caramelized elements jumps out of the glass, and as you delve into the drink, a nuanced hint of fine tobacco leaf can be tasted as it lends a warm earthy feel to the bourbon.
