Brrrrr…….. it is so cold out there! We have record-setting snowfall in New Orleans, Florida Spring training baseball games being postponed due to snow and ice, not to mention the rest of the country that is accustomed to freezing temperatures in January.
We really need a Hot Toddy right now, but let’s make it a little more interesting. Instead of plain water as your hot base, try using tea. You don’t even have to be picky about the flavor of tea. Earl Grey, chai, chamomile, etc. Use what you have on hand and experiment with different varieties. Add some bitters if you like, Angostura, black walnut, or maybe some cherry-chocolate. You can create dozens of flavor combinations with this easy format recipe.
