Luca Mariano Distillery, in Danville, Kentucky, recently announced two new hires. Amanda Coffman joins the distillery as a Chemist and Martha Johnson has been named Hospitality Manager.
Amanda Coffman Named Chemist
Coffman comes from Maker’s Mark where she served first as a Technical Analyst and later Liquid Quality Scientist. Luca Mariano said Coffman’s responsibilities include “overseeing the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, evaluating and issuing quality guarantees to suppliers, and testing to ensure the exceptional quality of the pure Kentucky limestone water—a key ingredient often missing in the industry when crafting America’s Spirit.”

Martha Johnson named Hospitality Manager
Johnson comes to Luca Mariano after 26 years in management at UPS Airlines and eight years managerial experience with Holiday Inn Express. The distillery said Johnson will “oversee multiple aspects of operation such as the Barrel Select Program and the development of engaging distillery tours centered around Italian hospitality, ultimately shaping Luca Mariano as a must-visit destination for bourbon enthusiasts and tourists alike.”
