It’s starting to feel like Kentucky Derby time in the Bluegrass. Woodford Reserve, the presenting sponsor of the race, unveiled this year’s commemorative Derby bottle today at Churchill Downs in Louisville.

The artist for the 2025 bottle is Humberto Lahera, a Cuban native who now lives in Louisville.

“Being selected as the artist for this year’s Derby bottle is an incredible honor,” Lahera said. “My work is deeply influenced by my Cuban heritage and my journey as an artist in Kentucky. For this design, I wanted to capture the exhilarating motion of the race and the elegance of the horses.”

The one liter bottle has an SRP of$49.99. Woodford Reserve has released a Derby bottle honoring “the greatest two minutes in sports” every year since 1999.

“Humberto’s ability to blend rich colors and movement perfectly captures the excitement and tradition of the Kentucky Derby. As a Cuban-born artist now calling Kentucky home, his work brings a unique perspective to this celebrated moment.”
