The big day is finally here for our friends Kenny Coleman and Ryan Cecil: their venue Pursuit Spirits on Whiskey Row opens today in Louisville.
It includes the usual suspects when you visit a whiskey venue: tasting experiences, a cocktail lounge (called Trial+Error) and, of course, a retail shop. But here’s one thing you won’t see anywhere else: a podcast studio. Ryan and Kenny are the long-time co-hosts of the Bourbon Pursuit podcast, which will now call the downtown Louisville location home.
We toured Pursuit Spirits on Whiskey Row in early July while the building was deep in the throes of construction. We’ll be touring the new facility soon and will have a complete report.
The duo started Pursuit Spirits several years ago while exploring the world of bourbon on their podcast. This new location covers nearly 7,600 square foot on two floors in a century-plus old building. It features restored hardwood floors, original brick walls, and lots of unique touches that visitors won’t want to miss.
There are three different in-person experiences that visitors can participate in ranging from 45 minutes to an hour long. For more information, click here.
