Bardstown Bourbon Company continues to express its creativity with a couple of new limited releases: Discovery 13 offers the distillery’s first double-barreled expression. Ferrand II showcases the partnership with Maison Ferrand with a second cognac finish.
“Double-barreling whiskey of significant age is a challenge we were excited to take on,” said Dan Callaway, Master Blender, who leads Bardstown’s finishing and blending. “We’ve honed our technique and process, carefully controlling conditions to add wood sugar and complexity that enhances aged liquid and showcases how innovation and tradition can come together to produce something truly rare.”
Alexandre Gabriel, Owner and Master Blender of Maison Ferrand said, “The beauty of this partnership is in the meeting of two worlds. We share our traditions, learn from each other, and push the boundaries of what’s possible. The result is something truly special, and you can taste it.”
