Trackside Distilling Company, based in Crestwood, Kentucky, is bringing out a high proof version of its inaugural bottle. Trackside Founder Release High Proof is a five-year-old bourbon, bottled at 107 proof.
“We’ve been thrilled by the response to our first bottling, the 93 proof Founder Release 2025, which is now available at more than 100 retail accounts across Kentucky and quickly selling out,” said Master Distiller Jade Peterson. “As we approach the fall and holidays, we felt it was the ideal time to release the High Proof version of our first release.”

Tasting Notes (from the distillery):
- Aroma: Light oak, vanilla and roasted cocoa.
- Taste: Dark chocolate, smokey oak, cherries and candied stone fruit.
- Finish: Sweet malt forward finish with Almond, toasted sugar and hints of chocolate cherries and toasted sugar.
ABV: 53.5%
Availability: Debuting at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival in Bardstown. 900 bottles will be sold at the Kentucky Artisan Distillery Gift Shop in Crestwood, Kentucky and more than 100 other retailers throughout the state.
