Fourth Pappy Collection Raffle Benefits Courageous Kids

Raffle Features 10 Different Collectible Bourbon Packages

It’s time once again to put on your bourbon philanthrophy hat and buy some raffle tickets for a special cause. Our good friends at The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) in Scottsville, Kentucky, are having their fourth annual raffle of “ultra rare, highly-coveted bourbon bottles.” What makes this raffle so special (besides the unbelievable bourbon that you can win)? CCK said, “Every ticket sold is a step toward transforming the lives of children with disabilities and lifelong illnesses, funding magical and unforgettable camp experiences all at no cost to their families.”

The grand prize is the complete Pappy’s Bourbon Collection. These six Van Winkle bottles are valued up to $15,000.

There are 10 drawings in this year’s raffle, which also includes the complete Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, Weller’s Collection, Blanton’s Eight Horses and additional coveted bottles, and a rare Jim Beam Corvette decanter.

“For the fourth year, bourbon enthusiasts have the chance to turn their passion into purpose by supporting CCK’s mission to bring life-changing camp experiences to children with disabilities and serious illnesses,” said Darren Dannelly, President & CEO of The Center for Courageous Kids. “Each ticket helps make camp possible for kids who wouldn’t otherwise get the chance to experience it. They can ride horses, fish, swim, and connect with peers who understand them, through medically-inclusive programs that remain completely free for families thanks to our supporters.”

Raffle tickets are $100 each and only 1,000 will be sold. Every ticket is entered into each drawing until it wins. The estimated value of all 10 packages is more than $39,000.

Camp is free to the families at CCK.
CCK has hosted more than 40,000 campers from 45 states and 13 countries.

Raffle Winners Announced November 1, 2025

Winners will be announced when the raffle takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, during CCK’s Stars & Six Strings fundraiser at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. (We attended the Stars & Six Strings event last year and had a blast. It’s incredible to see these unicorn bottles in person and watch the excitement build as each package is given away.)

Attendance is not required to win, and the drawing will be livestreamed for remote participants.

CCK said, “Proceeds from the Bourbon Raffle help fund  nine week-long summer sessions, each designed for specific medical conditions, welcoming up to 128 campers each week.”

“Sharing my collection for such a meaningful cause is a true privilege. These bottles are treasures for any collection, but the real reward is knowing that bourbon enthusiasts are coming together to create life-changing opportunities for these amazing kids and their families.”

About The Center for Courageous Kids

Recreational camping for children is reimagined at The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) in Scottsville, Kentucky.  CCK is a medical camp for children living with chronic illnesses and medical diagnosis and offers fully accessible and inclusive experiences for kids and families.  Children attend CCK independently during the summer seasons, and then come along with their family during our diagnosis specific weekend retreats, all free of charge.  To date, CCK has served over 40,000 campers, with over 100 different diagnoses, from 45 different states and 13 countries.

For many children, participating in camping activities is not possible due to medical factors or design barriers.  However, with a variety of traditional and modern camp programming, all campers can gather together, grow their independence, try new things, and make great friends at CCK.  The joy of camp becomes a reality for every child at The Center for Courageous Kids!  To learn more, visit our website: www.courageouskids.org
