Bardstown Bourbon Co. is about to roll out the third and final offering in its Distillery Reserve series for 2025: Normandie Calvados Brandy Barrel Finish.
A custom blend of 12 and 13-year-old bourbon spent 28 months finishing in a French Normandi Calvados Brandy barrel, before ending in new medium-toast American white oak barrels.
The previous releases in the Distillery Reserve series earlier this year were Cathedral 300-Year-Old French Oak and Hokkaido Mizunara Oak finish.

Tasting notes (from the distillery): “Layers of caramel, spice and roasted almond… An elegant confluence of crisp orchard fruit and velvety bourbon sweetness accented by gentle wood smoke and a whisper of vanilla.”
