Samuels Family Legacy Experience Comes to Kentucky

There’s a new top-shelf Kentucky whiskey tourism experience you might want to put on your bourbon bucket list. Louisville’s Mint Julep Experiences has launched the Samuels Family Legacy Experience on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

The company said the experience “offers rare access to both the historic Samuels House and Maker’s Mark Distillery, guided by members of the Samuels family.”

— Guests enjoy private transportation from Louisville, exclusive tastings, behind-the-scenes tours, and personal interaction with the family behind the world-renowned bourbon brand.


— The experience begins at the historic Samuels House, where guests are welcomed with cocktails, small bites and a hosted tasting.

— The evening continues with private after-hours access to Maker’s Mark Distillery, including a guided Whisky Creek walking tour, visits to production areas, exclusive tasting experiences and access to the Private Selection Cellar.

— Guests also participate in the iconic Maker’s Mark bottle-dipping experience and receive a signed bottle of Maker’s 46 Cask Strength as a keepsake from the evening.
