There are whiskey contests, and then there are whiskey contest you REALLY want to win. Like this one.
Yellowstone Bourbon is making the most of its connection with the namesake Yellowstone National Park and offering a “once-in-a-lifetime’ contest. But good things like this come with a bit of work.
You have to submit a photo and write a bit about your “love for the great outdoors – a hiking story, poem, or another kind of written expression.”
Whaddya win? The top three writers (and their plus-ones) get to spend four days in Yellowstone National Park enjoying “hiking, horseback riding, sightseeing, curated meals, private accommodations and round-trip airfare.” You don’t usually associate a National Park trip with curated meals, so I’m guessing campfire beans probably aren’t on the menu.
Yellowstone Bourbon has donated nearly $500,000 since 2018 to the National Parks Conservation Association and is one of the organization’s largest annual corporate donors.
