Vail, Colorado – Founder Ryan Thompson and his team at 10th Mountain Whiskey and Spirit Co. have selected writer and former Category Manager Daniel Rundquist as their first Brand Ambassador in North Carolina. Rundquist has lived in the foothills region of North Carolina for over twenty years and he has lived most of his life in the state. He has thirty years’ experience both in retail management and grocery marketing as a Category Manager. For the past five years, he has turned his skills to the spirit industry.

What makes them stand out in the community is that this is philanthropic distilling–they continue their support for over 24 private veteran’s organizations and causes. I am excited to be the one to introduce this brand to my fellow North Carolinians and share the story of 10th Mountain Whiskey,” Rundquist said. “I have always been a stalwart supporter of our nation’s Veterans since I worked for the VA decades ago. Working with Ryan and his team who focuses on support for Veteran causes today is a great fit for me. 10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Co. was founded in 2014 and today produces seven different spirits in their line including bourbon, rye, American single malt, potato vodka, brandy, corn moonshine, and a cordial. In North Carolina they will be available through the NC ABC system and AAFES.
Rundquist will continue in his role for Whiskey Network Magazine where he has been a Staff Writer since 2023.
