Trackside Distilling Co. Launches First Bourbon

The Trackside Distilling Company has just entered the whiskey horserace and has released its first limited bottling. It’s called Trackside Founder Release 2025. Trackside describes the expression as “a Kentucky bourbon crafted from a chocolate malted, four-grain mash bill, aged at least 4 years.”

Trackside Distilling Company is based in Oldham County, Kentucky. It is the creation of two of our friends, master distiller Jade Peterson and spirits industry vet Jeremy Dever. Peterson remains in his role as master distiller at Kentucky Artisan Distillery.

Trackside said in a news release this week, “At the heart of the handcrafted portfolio is Peterson’s personal collection of barrels amassed during the last 10 years.”

“During the course of my career, I’ve had the chance to taste and acquire some truly exceptional whiskeys,” said Peterson. “We’ve decided that now is the time to blend some of these exceptional spirits together and release them under the Trackside brand.
