Green River Whiskey will introduce its Green River Wheated Full Proof Bourbon last this week in 25 markets.
The Owensboro, Kentucky distillery said the new offering “delivers bold character and barrel-strength intensity while keeping Green River’s hallmark of approachability and value.”
“Wheated Full Proof is our way of giving fans a richer, more intense experience of the wheated bourbon they already love,” said Dan Callaway, Master Blender, Green River Whiskey. “We kept the same mashbill and the same commitment to balance, then selected and blended barrels that truly shine at barrel strength. The result is a more robust expression that still drinks like Green River.”

Mash bill: 70% corn, 21% wheat, and 9% malted barley.
Age: Five to seven years in Green River’s signature clay tile warehouses.
Tasting notes (from the distillery): Enhanced vanilla, caramelized wood sugars, and a richer expression of the wheated profile.
