- 1 Cocktail shaker
- 1 Strainer
- 1 Double Rocks Glass
Ingredients
- 2 oz Empress Rose Gin
- 1/2 oz Lillet Blanc
- 1/2 oz Spiced Pomegranate Syrup
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/4 oz Rich Simple Syrup
- 2 sprigs Basil garnish
Instructions
- Muddle one basil sprig in a cocktail shaker
- Add Empress Rose Gin, Lillet Blanc, pomegranate syrup, lemon juice, and rich simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake until well chilled.
- Double strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass.
- Garnish with the remaining basil sprig.

Spiced Pomegranate Syrup

Equipment
- 1 Small Saucepan
- 1 Strainer
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Pomegranate Juice
- 1/2 cup Cane Sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 piece Star Anise
- 1" piece Cinnamon Stick
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into a small saucepan, bring to a simmer over medium heat, lower heat to medium-low and continue to gently simmer for 5 minutes.
- Strain into an airtight container and bring to room temperature or chill, for use in cocktails.
Rich Simple Syrup

- 1 Small Saucepan
Ingredients
- 2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
- Add the sugar and water to the saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Let cool to room temperature, then pour into a glass jar and seal tightly.
