Garrard County Distilling Opens in Kentucky

Another Kentucky distillery has started production. Atlanta-based Staghorn opened the Garrard County Distilling Co. this week in Lancaster, just south of Lexington. This is the first new distillery in the county since the 1880s.

  • $250 million project
  • 210 acre campus
  • 50,000 square-foot distillery, 20,000 square feet of rick houses
  • Will produce 5 million proof gallons (150,000 barrels of whiskey per year)
  • 60-plus new jobs
  • 17,000 barrels of sourced whiskey already aging onsite
  • Home to All Nations Whiskey
