I am going to ease my Whiskey Fans into the world of Rum with an arresting split-base, tropical sipper using the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Venezuelan Rum. Consider this your gateway cocktail to the exotic land of tiki drinks. Be transported from your comfortable leather lounge of bourbon and sweet vermouth to a remote spice island with banana, nutmeg and a sea breeze. I can hear your audible “sigh” and you glide further away from reality with every sip. Bienvenido a Venezuela!
