The 13th annual Bourbon Mixer in Louisville is adding a special raffle for a six-bottle Pappy Van Winkle Collection and a six-bottle Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. The event is sponsored each year by the Whiskey Chicks and Bourbon Brotherhood to benefit the Coalition for the Homeless.
This year’s event, called Bourbon Nights, is an 80s themed party with food, music, and bourbon tasting opportunities with a variety of distilleries. It takes place on August 22 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Germantown Gables in Louisville.
The Bourbon Mixer has raised nearly $900,000 to help fight homelessness and hopes to exceed the cumulative $1 million mark after this year.
