Heaven Hill Distillery is about to introduce Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash Bourbon. The first of its kind product combines two different mash bills to showcase what the distillery calls its “commitment to producing exceptional American Whiskeys that honor tradition while embracing innovation.”
Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash
Age: Nine years old.
ABV: 50%.
Mash bill: Two-thirds traditional bourbon mashbill (78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley) with one-third Wheated Bourbon mashbill (68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley).
Tasting Notes (from the distillery): “Pours a warm amber color with aromas of toasted oak, honey and a hint of white pepper. The palate is bright and rich, offering honey and citrus oil before finishing with rich caramel and baking spices. The result is a Bourbon with exceptional balance, depth and complexity.”
