Louisville’s Watch Hill Proper Bourbon Bar and Kitchen is gearing up for its Fourth Annual American Whiskey Festival on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Organizers said the family-friendly event is free and will include “live music, whiskey and wine tastings, local food vendors, artisan merchants, and enhanced VIP experiences (tickets required).”
More than 40 distilleries and wineries will be onhand from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at North Village Square in Norton Commons.
Guests 21 and older can enjoy the Whiskey & Wine Garden. Live music will happen on the Doo Woo Stage.

Festival organizers are introducing four distiller-led private tastings, providing guests with an intimate opportunity to sample rare selections and hear directly from industry experts.

Since its launch in Norton Commons, the American Whiskey Festival has become one of Louisville’s premier summer events, drawing thousands of attendees each year to celebrate American whiskey, wine, food, music, and community.
