For the ninth year, Four Roses Distillery employees with offer a day of service to clean up the vital waterway that is the distillery’s water source. The annual Salt River Cleanup will happen on Thursday, September 25. The cleanup work will take place just behind the Lawrenceberg, Kentucky distillery and at two other locations along the Salt River that are 20 to 30 minutes away.
That’s always great news for the Salt River, but this year there’s something in it for you too. Four Roses is offering a limited run of commemorative Private Barrel Selection bottles. Half of the bottle sales will benefit the Kentucky Waterway Alliance.
With the purchase of the new commemorative bottle, you’ll receive a free water bottle and a cocktail.
“Four Roses Distillery employees will come together once again for the annual Salt River Cleanup, dedicating their time to protect and restore one of the region’s most important natural resources. The limestone-rich waters of the Salt River are not only central to the surrounding community, but also play a key role in the bourbon production process.”
