Strawberry Syrup

Course Syrups and Garnishes

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Fine Mesh Strainer
  • Airtight Container

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Strawberries
  • 1.25 cups Water
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium high heat, reduce to a low simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Using a fine mesh strainer, pour liquid into an airtight container and bring to room temperature.
  • Chill for use in cocktails. Store in the refrigerator.
