Caramel Apple Crush

The simple act of browning some butter before washing your bourbon will cause you to develop quite a crush on the addictive caramel-flavored spirit that comes of it. For this one we were given some Danish Creamery European Style butter to experiment with, and it transformed the bourbon into a caramel flavored treat. No sugar needed and no carbs for those counting.

You can stop right there and savor the caramel-flavored spirit as is, or if you are remembering just how delicious caramel apples are, then have a go at the recipe below. It’s a win-win situation.
